Little Elm is a part of the rapidly growing Dallas—Fort Worth metropolitan area and is Chamber member with ice creamlocated on Lewisville Lake’s shores in Denton County. Thirty miles to the south brings you to Dallas, and an equal distance to the Southwest takes you to Fort Worth.

In 2008, an east-west route through Little Elm was developed when the Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge was completed, connecting IH 35E I west to the Dallas North Tollway on the east, via Eldorado Parkway, through the center of Little Elm.

New commercial, retail, housing and community buildings sprung up in the heart of Little Elm along Eldorado Parkway, and the Town began to develop the destination district known as The Lakefront at Little Elm.

The Lakefront at Little Elm features unique restaurants, recreation amenities, and incredible special events for residents and visitors alike. It will soon feature a mixed-use residential and retail development with urban style living and shopping, restaurants, and professional office space. A hotel and entertainment center are also in the works! The Cove at The Lakefront, a 42,000-square-foot indoor water park, will join the district in early 2021.

Despite the rapid growth, Little Elm maintains a small-town charm and a real feeling of community. We are truly the town with the lake attitude!
