Relocation Information

The Town of Little Elm is located on the shores of Lake Lewisville north of Dallas. Conveniently located next to Frisco, Little Elm has seen significant growth since 2000, when the Town registered 3,600 residents. The most recent figures show just over 20,000, earning us recognition as one of the fastest growing communities in the US.

With the enormous growth came some ‘growing pains’, mostly in the way of traffic congestion and delayed commercial development. Fortunately, the completion of The Dallas North Tollway to Highway 380 has given residents easy access to the main arteries in northern Dallas.

Additionally, construction has begun on FM 423 through The Colony as well as Eldorado Parkway through Little Elm which will create a free-flowing traffic pattern in, out and through Town.

Little Elm offers a variety of office and retail space and prime locations are still available for commercial development. A planned Town Center will be the hub of future community activity and Lake Lewisville provides many scenic opportunities for restaurant and entertainment ventures.

The Town of Little Elm boasts a wide variety of housing opportunities as well. From master-planned communities with incredible parks and pools to the wooded lake-side lots, there’s something for everybody.

Our respected and Academically Recognized schools provide a wonderful learning environment for all ages. Whether your child is involved in the Arts, Sports or focused on Academics, Little Elm ISD continues to improve the quality of education for our children. Our incredible Little Elm Athletic Complex hosts a variety of annual events including the Special Olympics and Classic on the Lake Band Competition as well as serving as host to many regional Football, Soccer and Track events.

Our proximity to Lake Lewisville also provides water-sports, fishing, camping and swimming venues for all ages. The Town continues to develop and improve the Park system, adding trails and athletic fields for public use. And the Little Elm Youth Sports Association continues to grow, providing recreational sports opportunities for all ages.

Since it’s impossible to cover all of the great things about Little Elm, we hope you’ll spend some time learning more about the area and feel free to call with any questions you may have.
